Mental Illness is one of the leading causes of disability claims in the workplace . 30% of all short and long term disability claims are related to mental illness costing the Canadian Economy $16.6 Billion Dollars per year.
Join us to learn practical strategies and tactics organizations can implement in the workplace to:
- Decrease stigma
- Increase mental health awareness and training
- Understand how aligning with the National Standard for Psychological Health and Safety in the Workplace reduces turnover, grievances, disability claims, injury rates; as well as improves employee performance, morale, and organizational culture – and how this directly affects the bottom line.
Adelle Stewart is the Director of Operations with Bridges Health in Saskatoon; Saskatchewan's largest locally-owned multi-disciplimary workplace wellness resource. Adelle is a certified life and business coach; she facilitates local and national public speaking events as well as organizational and executive training on mental health in the workplace.
